Tyler's 30th Birthday
01 / The rundown
Tyler turns 30 on the 10th of October. Rather than a pub, he is putting a festival on his family's farm outside Naracoorte, with a marquee, a bonfire, a PA and a paddock full of tents.
Everything on this site is what you need to know before you drive down. The short version: it's free, it starts at 2pm, and you should bring a tent and a jumper.
The concept of my 30th is basically a re enactment of my favourite music festival UNIFY Gathering. In saying that, my 30th will be held at my families farm in Naracoorte and will be a camping type situation.
I have curated a rough map of the paddock we will be celebrating in, with designated areas to park your cars and another designated area for camping. Just like UNIFY.
It also gets very cold in the evening at Naracoorte, even at the start of Spring, so pack accordingly.
Can't wait to see you all soon x

02 / Lineup
Lineup under construction
DJs, set times and the running order are still being locked in.
Check back closer to the date.
03 / Playlist
Tyler is putting together a playlist so you know roughly what you are walking into. Put it on for the drive down.
04 / The paddock
Park in the parking area. Camp in the camping area. The party area has the marquee, the bonfire and the toilets. Entry is at the bottom of the map and will be signposted with a very large banner.
Take a screenshot before you leave town.
05 / Getting there
Naracoorte does not have a taxi service. There is no Uber. There is no rank outside the pub.
If you are not camping, you need a designated driver sorted before you leave home. Do not plan to work it out on the night, because there is nothing to work out.
If you are camping, park in the parking area and leave the car there.
06 / Wristbands
There is no ticket, no door charge and nothing to buy in advance. Roll up, get a wristband at the gate, go and find a spot for your tent.
A small number of people are on AAA laminates. If you are one of them you already know about it. If you are asking whether you have one, you do not have one.
07 / What's there
Tyler is organising all of this. You do not need to bring any of it.
08 / Merch
There is a LUSHIFY shirt in production. Photos and how to get one will go up here once they land.
09 / Trivia
Five questions and a tiebreaker. Answers go through to the desk, get marked, and the winner is announced at the festival. One entry each, no looking at his Facebook.
10 / Photo drop
Every photo from the night in one folder, so Tyler actually has them instead of them dying in forty different camera rolls. Nobody else can see what you upload.
Works straight from your phone. No app, no Google account needed. If reception is patchy, upload in batches of five or ten.
11 / Instagram
Everything gets posted here after the fact. Follow it now so you are not hunting for it in November.
12 / FAQ
A tent, a swag or a mattress in the back of the ute. Sleeping bag. A jumper and a coat, because it gets genuinely cold at Naracoorte at night even in October. A camp chair. A torch. An esky.
Bring your own food if you want something specific, otherwise food is sorted.
BYO drinks unbelievably encouraged. There will be some drinks and some eskies there, but bring your own of both.
There will be bins for empties. Use them, it's a working farm.
There is a marked parking area in the paddock, up past the entrance. It is on the map above. Park there, not in the camping area and not in the party area.
Come in through the entrance at the bottom of the map. It will be signposted with a banner you could see from space. No ticket, no list, no charge. Grab a wristband and you're in.
Yes, and it is the recommended option. There is a designated camping area marked on the map. Camping happens on the Saturday night only.
Tyler is running a pub crawl in Naracoorte on Friday the 9th, hitting the three pubs: The Narry, Kingas and The Commercial. Full details closer to the date.
Camping is Saturday only, so if you are coming up Friday you will need a bed in town. Options:
There are other places around. Ask Tyler and he'll help where he can.
Designated driver, arranged before you arrive. Naracoorte has no taxi service and the farm is 5 to 10km out of town. This is the whole answer.
Yes. It's a birthday party. Bring a drink and a present and call it square.
